The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to around three minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed American Waltham, USA, and it has the serial number 12,, which dates it back to The movement is protected by an inner dust cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The movement was cased by the English watch case maker Dennison.
It is a gold plated case and the condition is good for its age; there are general light surface marks and a little gentle unevenness to the front cover. The lens is a later plastic replacement and it is in good condition. The signed dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks and some minor marking.
